Abstract Art for Home, Office or Corporate Setting, by

As you can see, I haven’t always
painted non-objective abstracts that often get the response of, “I don’t get it”. This I don’t mind
though. Abstract is a hard sell, and I know it, but I have to be true to myself. Of course it’s gratifying to get positive
feedback. It gives me the motivation to continue, but even without it, I would still go on as I do now. It really is more
about the creation of the stuff and less about the sale of it. Don’t get me wrong though, I love it when a piece sells,
especially during this difficult economy. It tells me that someone thinks enough about the work of art to put aside say, filling
the gas tank or feeding the family, for a chance to hang the thing on their wall. I know, I’m a bit cynical, maybe more
than a bit for sure. You will probably see this is true in some of these black and whites from my past.
